Founded by experienced self storage operator Jan Bikker, 1 Box Self Storage is a leading operator of institutional quality self storage within the Netherlands, with locations in Rijswijk, Groeningen, Heerlen, Venlo, Roermond, and Sittard.

Europa Storage Group acquired a majority stake in 1 Box in 2019, and along with Jan as a continued partner in the business, has continued to invest in the expansion and growth of the 1 Box portfolio throughout the country, adding four new sites to the original portfolio which are in the process of being integrated into the 1 Box brand, and making significant capital improvements to all sites within the portfolio.
